Step 1 — Shape the mouth tray: Hold the tray by the tab and dip into water at 80 °C for 10–15 seconds until it is malleable. Do not submerge the tab and keep fingers out of the water. Shake off the remaining water, then quickly place the tray onto the upper or lower set of teeth. Use your fingers and tongue to mould it to your teeth, close your mouth and suck the air and moisture out for a better impression. Keep the tray in for 30 seconds. If you are not satisfied, repeat with the same tray. Once happy with the fit, rinse with cold water and cut off the tab with scissors, flush with the front of the tray. Store the trays at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, so they keep their shape. Step 2: Brush your teeth gently without toothpaste before each treatment. Step 3: Apply a thin line of gel around the inside of the mouth tray, from one side to the other, then place the tray on the teeth you want to whiten. Both rows can be whitened at the same time. (Alternative: clean your hands, put a drop of gel on your fingertip, rub it gently onto the teeth you wish to whiten, then fit the tray.) Step 4: Leave on your teeth for 15 minutes. Step 5: Remove the tray after 15 minutes. Step 6: Brush your teeth without toothpaste. Step 7: Repeat once a day for 14 days, or until you are satisfied with the results within 3 months. Step 8: Repeat the process with the other set of teeth. When using a refill, go directly to Step 2. Avoid tea, coffee and coloured drinks for four hours after treatment. Fillings, crowns and veneers are not whitened — Oravine products whiten natural tooth enamel only. Small white spots may appear straight after treatment and usually dissolve within 4–6 hours. Use for a maximum of 14 consecutive days, then pause for 3 months. For adults only. Not recommended for persons under 18. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before starting treatment. Do not use if you have irritated or inflamed gums, bleeding gums, oral infections, tooth decay, gum disease, an allergy to any of the ingredients, or if you wear braces. Store below 25 °C, away from direct sunlight. Do not swallow. Keep all whitening products and accessories out of reach of children and animals.
